Death Troopers

These gloss black nightmares were surprisingly tough to paint, given their monochromatic nature. I primed black, highlighted up to dark grey, and then hit just a couple of high spots with a neutral grey dry brush.

For the eyes and scopes, I put down a light layer of white, then applied a couple of layers of green, increasingly thinner and lighter.

I sprayed a matte varnish on everything, and then went in by hand with my Vallejo gloss varnish dropper (mixed about 1:2 with water) to give their armor its distinctive shine.
